Why we collect it

We collect this data solely to provide the Spinfolk service — tracking your shared record collection, wishlists, and household membership.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

We do not sell your data to anyone.


Services we use

Supabase — database and account authentication (servers in the EU)

Railway — app hosting (server in Amsterdam, the Netherlands)

These are the only services that process your personal data.

Album cover art is loaded from Cover Art Archive (coverartarchive.org), an external public service. No personal data is sent to Cover Art Archive.

Album information is searched via MusicBrainz (musicbrainz.org), an external public service. No personal data is sent to MusicBrainz.


Cookies and storage

Spinfolk uses one session cookie. It is strictly necessary for login to work and does not track you. No marketing or analytics cookies are used. See our Cookie & Storage page for full details.


How long we keep your data

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data (email, name, wishlist items, household membership) is permanently deleted. Records in a shared household are not deleted, as they belong to the household.

Spinfolk is currently in public beta. Features may change. While we take care of your data, we cannot guarantee permanent data availability. Please do not rely on Spinfolk as your only record of your collection.
